Located in the central area of Gili Trawangan on the main strip it is an ideal spot to pop in to during the day in between your visits to the beach, just before dinner or even after dinner for a late night pampering session.
The staff at Azure Spa are highly skilled, trained Balinese therapists. They are friendly, welcoming and extremely good at their jobs so you can close your eyes and relax in the knowledge that you will be well looked after.
With so many other spas on the island, Azure stands out because of it's stunningly beautiful views over Lombok. You are also up and out of the way of all the hustle and bustle of the island on our second level balcony.
Here is a guest's personal experience of Azure's signature full body massage.
I decided to go for a wander after relaxing on the beach for the morning. After having enough sun for the day I thought I may treat myself to a cocktail at Pesona Resort. As I walked up to the bar I was approached by a lovely therapist who told me about the new spa upstairs. So before the cocktail, decided to treat myself to a massage (I am on holiday after all!)
After being welcomed and given an appointment immediately without an appointment, I was given a fresh, cool flannel for my hands and face. A much welcomed highlight as I was rather warm from my time in the sunshine. I was then shown to my curtain clad massage bed, with comfy head space and clean fresh towels and a sarong.
A delightful breeze swept through the second tier spa and I could hear the ocean lapping at the shore whilst I got comfy and waited for the therapist to come in. They asked how I would like my massage and I immediately felt relaxed and switched off from the noise of the island.
They had some really beautiful music playing, which added to the experience and transported me into a trance-like state where I was completely zoned out to everything.
I have had a lot of massages during my 3 months of traveling around South East Asia and this one was 100% the best one of all of them. Not too hard and not too soft, my therapist applied perfect pressure and eased away all of my tension in one hour!I would highly recommend this spa to other holidaymakers and travelers.
As well as this treatment, Azure spa offers other types of massage including Aroma massage, Traditional Balinese massage, hot stone massage and foot reflexology. They also offer manicures, pedicures, after sun treatments and waxing.
