Animal of the month - The turtle

This month's animal of the month is the Green sea turtle. Quite common around the waters of the Gili islands, we are proud of our turtles and are moving closer to protecting them and their habitat.

Sidemount

Scuba diving is constantly changing and adapting to different types and styles, allowing divers to fully explore numerous avenues for their underwater activities. Side mount has been about for a few years, however PADI are now pushing it as a new and exciting way to dive, giving divers more air, a more streamlined stance and an uber-cool appearance. Here, one of our instructors tries it for the first time and learns just how cool it is to be a side mount diver!
